Robb Cappelletto is a guitarist, composer and educator based in Toronto, Canada. He has two decades of professional teaching experience and has been on faculty at York University as a jazz guitar instructor since 2007. An in-demand session player in Toronto's hip-hop, R&B and EDM scenes, Robb has recorded and performed with such diverse artists as Lord Finesse, Shad, Saukrates, APB, Skratch Bastid, Keys n Krates and A Tribe Called Red.

Robb has taught at Sonora since 2020, and has been a mentor to Grammy award-winning students including Marlon Williams (Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar) and Billy Strings. His methodology stresses learning music by ear and being able to visualize those sounds on the fretboard, as opposed to using written materials. All students are given an individualized work path based on their own musical interests and applications, which encompasses a broad understanding of how to see the fundamentals of theory and harmony in any style, and approach the guitar with a healthy and ergonomic playing technique.
