Brian Green is a guitar player, composer and producer based out of Los Angeles, California. He has toured, performed and/or recorded with various artists including John Legend, Rufus Wainwright, Michael Buble, Madison Cunningham, Andrew Bird, Scary Pockets and Pomplamoose. He has two albums under his name, Impressions For Headphones and Music For Home.
In addition to his work as a sideman, Brian has two albums under his name, Impressions For Headphones and Music For Home. He continues to record music as a solo artist and is a producer with other artists as well including Pomplamoose, Scary Pockets, Rozzi Crane, Ryan Lerman, Angela Munoz and others.
As a teacher, Brian emphasizes the value of understanding rhythm, form and harmony to come up with guitar parts that fit a variety of musical situations. He works with a lot of songwriters at Sonora who want to use the guitar as a tool for production and composition. His lessons involve song analysis, part writing and transcribing in addition to fretboard fluency.
